Calculate the DLI of the greenhouse with limiting factors

App to calculate the DLI (Daily light integral). Starting from the Italian geographical area concerned and knowing the limiting factors, in terms of reduction of light radiation, you can calculate the DLI.

The average annual DLI in Italy is well represented on ESRI's ArcGIS platform, the "Europe Final DLI Map" of 2019, created by the University of Tennessee, and is substantially represented in three macro geographical areas North, Center, South and major islands of Italy.

Furthermore, through the Global Solar Atlas we can have the range average minimum and maximum in kWh/m2of the normal direct radiation on Italy, which for simplicity we represent in four macro areas.

AreaMinimum valueMaximum value
North3,64,1
Center3,94,6
South4,34,7
Major islands4,55,2

Values expressed in kWh / m2

The general average data for the entire Italian region is: 2.3 - 5.1 kWh / m.
